With the Eighth U.S. Army Korea .Song Back Koon, a four year old Korean War Orphan, of the Soong Hyun Baby Home near Seoul, is shown modeling a pair of the sleepers presented the home by members of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 83d Ordnance Ammunition Battalion.

            Song is one of 105 orphans at the home.  They range in age from a few days to six years.  All the children have been picked up by teams from the Civil Assistance Corps of the U.N. and placed in the home.

            Men of the 83d Ord. Bn., have interested themselves in the welfare of the youngster and have built beds from ammunition boxes, donated their candy rations and generally helped to make the home more livable for them. (Army Photo by: Cpl. Harry Walker)
