Moving Day, Manassas Manor Orphanage, Korea,

22 November 1952

The servicemen in the 326th CRC finally decided that it would be in the best interests of the children to close Manassas Manor and move the children to the Seoul Sanitarium and Hospital Orphanage. We thought there were 55 children at the orphanage but on moving day we could locate only 50. Were the staff "padding" the books or had the children run away? The men of the company continued helping the children, and their companions, in their new home.
