24 Dec. 1952 Ton-jin, Korea SANTA CLAUS WAS HERE. Billy Roughouse, a ten-year-old Korean orphan, who has been cared for by the Marines ever since the start of the Korean War, holds a brand new softball as he sits in front of the mobile Christmas tree the Marines hauled from one school to another on Christmas Eve. Billy’s present foster-father is 1st Lt. Harold E. McKinney, 23, of Houston, Missouri.
