Korea. A lieutenant of the 3rd Div Signal School shares a sandwich with "Baby San" (Lee Kum Soun), the school's mascot. Baby-san is one of the many such mascots transferred from US Army units to an orphanage in Taegu recently. Their GI foster parents were persuaded that separation from their mascots was inevitable and that the best interest of the children would be served by sending them to Christian institutions asay from the fighting front.
