Devildogs Want Tot

Los Angeles (AP)- Butch Chango, an 11-year-old Korean whose mother and father were killed in the Inchon landing, may find a foster home with two southern California Marines.

The immigration service showed a letter Friday from corporals Gordon M. Paris, of San Pedro, and Al Roy, asking permission to bring Butch back to the United States because he saved their lives.

BUTCH WARNED them Red troops were near, the letter said. They asked how he knew. "Because the crickets have stopped chirping over there in the rice field," Butch said.

The Marines turned a machinegun on the rice paddy and smoked out a squad of Red Koreans.
