TOKYO (S&S) - Harry Holt (left), 50-year-old Oregon farmer, sawmill operator and philanthropist, passed through Tokyo International Airport this week bringing 13 mixed-blood Korean orphans from Seoul en route to the U.S. for adoption.  He is adopting eight himself.

During the one-and-a-half layover between planes at the airport, Holt talked with newsmen about his plans for the children.  The children occupied themselves with their own plans.

Holt, air line officials, stewardesses and a registered nurse tried to keep track of the youngsters as they scampered through an action-packed 120 minutes, investigating the terminal and transacting their own important businesses.

These photos by Stars & Stripes photographer Henry A. Simmons give a few glimpses of some of the airport's most winsome transients and their harried dad.
