Clothing From Alabama Arrives For Cheju Needy

HQ, UNCACK, Mar. 1 (Pac. S&S)- Nearly four and a half tons of clothing and shoes for destitute Koreans on Cheju Island arrived yesterday in Pusan aboard the S.S. War Hawk. All the clothes were donated by citizens of Mobile, Ala., in answer to a plea by the Mobile American Legion to help needy refugees.

The ship was met by Col. James A. Casteel of UNCACK and Mrs. Whang On Soon, representative of the governor of Cheju-do, who will direct the clothing distribution. he shipment was delivered free by the Waterman Steamship Corporation of Mobile.
