Texans Sending Clothes, Food To Korean Children

HOUSTON, Jan. 18 (AP)- A $150,000 gift of food and clothing from the people of Texas to the children of Korea was loaded on the S.S. Norman Lykes at Port Houston yesterday.

The gifts, ranging from diapers and garden seed to peanut butter and jelly, were collected by volunteers throughout the state and will be distributed from Pusan to hospitals, refugee camps, and mission stations.

The gifts were collected under the auspices of the Christian Rural Overseas program.
