2d Div. St. Nicks Give Korean Tots Taste of Christmas

WITH U.S. 2D DIV, Oct. 5- The Korean orphans of the 2d Division sponsored Friendship Home got a little taste of what Christmas is like recently when four soldiers of the 9th Regiment paid them a surprise visit.

The Indianhead warriors brought along candy, washcloths, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and soap for the children.

THE FOUR St. Nicks were: SFC Charles Sherer, Jasper, Ala.; PFC John Honkawich, N.Y.; Cpl. Boris Snider, Sunnyside, N.Y., and PFC John Witty, Jackson, Minn.

After their visit with the children, the soldiers inspected the nearly completed house being constructed for the resident doctor and the foundation, for the new home which should be completed by Thanksgiving.
