Tankers Give $1,561 For Korean Amputees

WITH U.S. 2D DIV, Nov. 2- Company B of the division's 72d Tank Battalion went all out in a recent Korean children's amputee fund drive with a $1,561 contribution.

Sums given by the Indianhead tankers ranged from a minimum of $4 to $54 given by one soldier.

"The campaign was conducted on a strictly voluntary basis," said the company's First Sergeant, Kenneth Long, Boonville, Miss, "and participation was 100 per cent."
