187th Troopers Donate $5,000 For Orphanage 

WITH U.S. 187TH AIRBORNE RCT, Dec. 14-  Near $5,000 has been collected to date by troopers of the 187th Airborne RCT located at Beppu to rebuild the orphanage sponsored by the RCT. 

The orphanage, which burned down while the 187th was in Korea, is supported entirely by donations of the airborne enlisted men and officers. 

IN THE RECENT drive $4,849.50 was collected to be used for clothing, toys, furnishings, and kitchen utensils to replace those destroyed by the fire.
