Texas Woman Ships Clothes to Koreans

SAN FRANCISCO, Cal., Nov. 13 (AP)- A Texas housewife flew to San Francisco yesterday to personally place the postage on 20,000 pounds of clothing for needy Korean children.

Mrs. Lloyd W. Doughty collected the clothing herself from residents of Dallas - her hometown - and other Texas cities. She drove the family car from house to house and from town to town picking up offerings wherever she went.

And enthusiastic Texans, having given her enough clothing to fill two large trucks, added cash donations to buy postage to ship the goods from here to Korea and passage aboard United Air Lines from Dallas to San Francisco for herself.
