Navy Men

"Commodore Jimmy" smiles with Rear Adm. Frederic S. Withington (left), commander, Naval Amphibious Forces in the Far East, and his chief of staff, Capt. W.D. McKinney, as they discuss Jimmy's future.

Jimmy, who was befriended by officers and crew of the Mt. McKinley during a visit to Pusan, expects to join the family of an American Naval officer stationed in Japan.
