  Illness Cancels Orphan's Yule

NEW YORK (UP)-Little Joey Kim Porcelli had to postpone a combination Christmas and birthday celebration Sunday because of more of the bad luck that has followed him almost since his birth in war-torn Korea.

Joey has influenza.  Capt. Charles Porcelli, who found Kim, now 9, wandering behind U.N. lines in Korea in 1950, said Kim's baptism would also have to be put off.  The reason for Kim's belated Christmas was his long stay in the Scott AFB, Ill., hospital, with a fractured skull.  Kim was hurt when he fell off a bicycle just before Christmas as he tried to avoid running down a five year-old girl.
