NCOs Donate $3,500 To Aid Orphanage

HQ., U.S. 24TH DIV., Korea- Members of the 34th Inf. Regt.'s NCO Open Mess have contributed $3,500 for the construction of an administration building for a nearby orphanage.  The 34th's chaplain, Maj. Cassius E. Ellis, made an appeal for funds to aid in the eight-building project, which will cost an estimated $12,500.  Plans for the orphanage include living quarters, classrooms, dining hall, kitchen and a chapel for the homeless Korean children.
