TAEGU, Korea (TMP)-Movies, games, and ice cream are
only part of the entertainment planned for more than 2,000 children
from 32 orphanages on Taegu Orphans Day, Oct. 16. Col. E. P. Beyer,
Taegu Military Post commander outlined a tentative program for the fete
at a meeting here this week. Orphans Day was suggested by KComZ Commander
Maj. Gen. E.J. McGraw. The program calls for movies at the TMP theater,
a model airplane show, ice cream, cookies and other refreshments, a
vaudeville show featuring U.S. Army personnel, singing and dancing by
the children, games, a concert by the ROKA Band and the installation
of playground equipment for the children's use.
