A WELCOME TO JAPAN is given by 1st
Marine Aircraft Wing Act Gy Sgt. Willard Boyd, MABS-12 Motor Transport,
to his newly adopted Korean daughter, Tonia, 6. Tonia, formerly
called Moan-Ai-Ja, is wearing a Korean costume. Father of two boys,
18 and 5years old, the Riverside, Calif. Marine first saw Tonia
at a Military Air base in Korea six months ago, started adoption
proceedings and received the final papers May 14. Boyd and his
daughter will depart for the U.S. next week when his 15 month overseas
