SEOUL, KOREA: Diapers tell the tale as they
hang in the sun to dry outside the recently built orphanage of the
Holt Adoption Program on the outskirts of Seoul, Korea. The program,
organized and directed by farmer Harry Holt, of Cresswell, Ore.,
is designed to find homes and parents for the thousands of war waifs
in Korea. The orphanage, built with the aid of about $40,000 in
donations, houses 200 orphans prior to their adoption by American
families. Since Holt began his one-man adoption campaign, the Holt
agency has sent more than 1,000 orphans to the U.S. for adoption.
