NEW SON—Nine year old Peter Park Smith, decked
out in a new stateside suit and cowboy boots, smiles with his
new father, Sgt. John W. Smith, 728th Stockade Det.
(Prov.) in Seoul. Pete, who was in a Korean orphanage when the
sergeant found and adopted him last year, is leaving soon for
his new home in Arroyo Grande, Cal. He says he’s looking forward
to seeing his new mother “and going to school.”
