2D LOG COM. IN KOREA-Approximately 200 orphans
from a Catholic orphanage in Pusan were given a special Christmas
party Sunday by the Red Cross Club in Pusan. The party, the first
of its kind to be given by the club, began at 3 p.m. with a Korean
variety show. The orphanage also presented a short show in order
to express its thanks and gratitude to club officials and others responsible
for the party.
Highlight of the afternoon was when 25 Korean boys
and girls from 3 to 14 sang two selections in English, "God Bless
America" and "Come All Ye Faithful." Refreshments were served throughout
the entire evening and gifts were given the children by members of
the club staff.
