Korean Mascots Battle in Ring

WITH 2D LOG COM IN KOREA-Mascots of various UN units in Korea met recently at the Red Cross club in Pusan, as the "atom-weight" boxing competition opened, with a candy purse at stake.  Using amateur rules of minute and a half rounds, and three-round bouts, the tiny contenders, described as "weighing 65 pounds soaking wet and with an anvil in each glove" slugged it out in matches nobody could lose.

Rather than disappoint any of the pug artists, the judges fixed each bout as a draw.  That way, all the boys shared in the candy purse.
