WITH THE EIGHTH FIGHTER BOMBER WING. . . KOREA.
. . Here's something new in R and R. M/Sgt. Joseph I. Hilelson came
from Japan on his three day pass in order to distribute clothing to
needy orphans. Landing at the most advanced Fifth Air Force combat
base, the 315th Air Division sergeant was taken to a local
orphan's home by 8th Fighter Bomber Wing Chaplain (Major)
Joseph Pohl. In the above photograph, Hilelson is shown distributing
his gifts while Sister Margarite of the Korean Orphanage beams in
the background. (USAF Photo by Sergeant Dimas Gonzales)
