KOREAN ORPHAN KIM PUNG HOON LEARNS PING PONG

FIFTH AIR FORCE, KOREA—Airman Second Class Don Davis of Los Angeles, Calif., teaches ping pong to Kim Pung Hoon in the recreation room of the U.S. Air Force 51st Fighter Interceptor Wing in Korea. Airman Davis found young Kim shining shoes in a Suwon transportation office and made him his ward. Later, the members of Airman Davis’ installations squadron adopted Kim as their mascot.
